Last night I cleaned up the battery trays and painted them. I also lined the bottoms and the sides with an adhesive rubber for less rattle. Every little bit helps with these Xebras. They are quite noisy. I

I am in the process of a few mods. Here is whats going on. First I am removing
rust and paint from the frame and repainting with Krylon gray
primer and then rubberized undercoating.
I am going to build battery boxes and I will post photos and info
when I am done. I raised my seat and angled it back a bit. Much better
seating position and I think that also reinforced that whole area a
bit. I am also replacing any hardware (nuts and bolts) and sanding and
painting as I go.
